Overflow

I'm crazy excited because I finally figured out how to work my Nikon to get the 'soft water' effect, without the picture being over-exposed and just being a mess of bright, white light. This is the same creek that was frozen in one of my previous photos.

Unfortunately, as you can see, the water here is pretty filthy at the moment. We've had a massive amount of rain and the creek is pretty much overflowing and flooding and it's just muddy and gross, so I'd like to get out here when the flow as subsided some and see if it looks a little less, well, brown.

I've almost had this camera a year and I'm still discovering new things about it!
